HMC EVENTS

Join in and pray for HMC, every Sunday morning before the service. Come to the front of the sanctuary and lift the needs of our HMC community up before God.

Our next Building Connections time will be a Cupcake Sunday, next week, on February 18. Plan to bring along a plate of cupcakes to share and let’s gather after the service to celebrate and thank all those who have given so much of their time and energy to the ministries of the church.

The Teen Challenge Choir will be leading our service on Sunday, February 25. Come and hear their powerful testimonies and enjoy their musical presentation. Following the service, plan to bring a crockpot of chilli and join us in the gym for a fun Chilli Cook-Off lunch which we will enjoy with the Teen Challenge men.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Our Condolences to Jason & Angie Bechtel and their children on the passing of Angie’s grandmother on February 4. Please remember the family in your prayers as they grieve.

Our Condolences to John & Linda Gertsma on the passing of Linda’s mother, Orrell Zinn, on February 4. Please pray for the family as they mourn their loss.

Our Condolences to John & Heather Bender on the loss of John’s grandmother, who passed away on February 8 at the age of 103. Please remember the family in your prayers.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

Mom’s and Tot’s is looking for another volunteer to hang out with the children while the mother’s meet each Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. If you’re interested, but not yet certified, don’t let that stop you! Let us know, and we can get you step up.

Coffee with Pastor Dave! We have changed up our bulletin formatting. If you’re free on Friday’s at 1:00 p.m., Pastor Dave will be brewing up a pot of coffee and folding bulletins in the Admin Centre—he would love if you’d come and join him!

WORDS OF THANKS

Pastor Lyndsay wishes to offer her thanks for all the care extended to her following the loss of her father. Thank you for the cards, flowers, phone calls, and meals. She felt truly blessed.
