HMC EVENTS

Join in and pray for HMC on Sunday mornings before the service. Come to the front of the sanctuary and lift the needs of our HMC community up before God.

Through the month of March, join with Pastor Lyndsay on Wednesday nights from 7-8 as she leads a practical study on personal, reflective prayer in the overflow.

Young at Heart is gathering on Thursday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. Vern Dyck from Ethnos will be sharing. Get your luncheon tickets in the foyer today.

Interested in being baptized at our Easter service? Contact the church office. We will be running a Baptism class on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. for anyone wanting to take this step.

You’re invited to a Couples Retreat from April 13-14 at Horseshoe Resort in Barrie. (Friday at 7:00 p.m. until Saturday at 4:00 p.m.) $295/couple with $150 due by March 11. Speakers via telecast. Nursing babies welcome. For more info, contact Chris and Heather Winkels or Jason and Angie Bechtel.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Our Condolences to Mark Webb and family on the passing of Mark’s father, Bryan, on February 27. Please pray for the family as they grieve.

Please pray for Angie Bechtel’s sister, Krista Poidevin who had to leave the mission field because of some unexpected health complications. Krista and her husband John, along with their three young children, are missionaries with Ethos in Tanzania, Africa. Please pray for God’s intervention and that their family would experience His healing grace.

Please uphold Rick Pake in prayer as he faces health concerns. Also pray for Pam and family as they journey together.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

Each year, HMC is responsible to help with the luncheon at one of the community Lenten services. If you’re able to help with set-up, serving, and clean-up on Wednesday, March 7 – or if you can provide cupcakes or squares for the same date, please connect with Pastor Lyndsay.

Easter Breakfast The Missions Planning Team and Men in Action are partnering to host a breakfast on April 1 to raise funds for the missionaries we serve. More info to come.
